SIP has developed a number of different Publications and Resources most of which are available for purchase in our on-line store.
The Satir Journal published from 2006 to 2012 was an international forum for discussion and analysis of Virginia Satir’s legacy of therapeutic work and its development in personal, family and organizational systems. The Satir Journal is available through EBSCO databases at universities and colleges around the world. Single articles, issues and abstracts are available in print and on line.
Download this list of writings published in English since 1960 until March 2021 by Virginia Satir and other authors, relating to the Satir Model. Have we missed any papers? Please tell us about any which have been omitted and of new publications as they appear. These DVD’s feature live therapy sessions taken either in a studio setting or during residential programs and provide discussion and learning opportunities for the application of Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy.

Members of SIP in good standing and residing in BC are eligible for borrowing books and tapes. The Satir Library was first launched in April 2005 and consists of Videos/DVD’s/Books and Journals all relating to Virginia Satir and the Satir Model. For full borrowing instructions and a list of the inventory in the library see the Lending Library Resource list. Members are welcome to make suggestions to the Librarian, regarding this service.
