Mary Leslie is a recently retired social worker, who worked in several health fields, including cancer care, palliative and kidney transplants. She was a sessional faculty member for five years at UBC School of Social Work and had a private social work practice from 2001 until retirement in October 2022. She began her studies with the Satir Institute of the Pacific in 2001 and considers herself a continuous student of Satir to this day.

She recently edited a book with 6 other authors, “Satir’s Evolving Legacy”. She previously served on the Board of SIP and has returned currently as the director of Marketing.
