Level 2 Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy in a retreat format.<\/p>\n

Bethlehem Retreat Center, Nanaimo, BC<\/p>\n

60 Continuing Education Hours (CEC\/CEU)<\/p>\n

Facilitators will be Linda Lucas, MA, LCPC, LPC and Tricia Antoniuk, MSW, RSW<\/a><\/span><\/h6>\n

This program is for counselors and therapists who have completed a Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy Level I<\/span> training program offered by the Satir Institute of the Pacific (or an equivalent program approved by<\/span> Tricia Antoniuk<\/span>,<\/span> Director of Training)<\/span> who are<\/span> presently working with clients in a counselling or helping role\/position<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> focus<\/span> of<\/span> STST Level 2<\/span> is<\/span> to<\/span> improve<\/span> participants\u2019<\/span> competence,<\/span> congruence<\/span> and<\/span> confidence<\/span> in<\/span> doing<\/span> transformational, experiential, systemic change therapy.<\/span> The course leader wil<\/span>l utilize lecturettes, small group<\/span> discussions, structured exercises, demonstrations, experiential learning and skill practice sessions to assist participants<\/span> to move their therapy into a positively directional, change focused, experiential process.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> emphasis will be on bringing about transformational change in individual therapy, couples\u2019 therapy and family<\/span> therapy. As well, some attention will be given to working with specific symptoms in therapy.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Participants will work in trios to practice dif<\/span>ferent aspects of the program.<\/span> As in the STST Level I<\/span> t<\/span>raining program, <\/span>participants will use their own process of personal growth as the arena for their learning.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nAugust 4 and 5 – 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Training and Trio Work (Approximate)
\nAugust 6 – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Evening Off)
\nAugust 7 – 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Training and Trio Work (Approximate)
\nAugust 8 – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Training, 7:00 pm Trio work, Celebration Party and Auction
\nAugust 9 – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (Off to catch ferries back to mainland)<\/p>\n

Cancellation Policy<\/span> \u2013 Deposit or full payment due with application, full refund if not accepted into program. For deposit payment the balance of the payment is due by June 15, 2024.\u00a0 No refunds after April 28, 2024 . Refunds minus $100 administration fee before April 28, 2024.<\/p>\n

Payment plans are available after acceptance into the program.\u00a0 Balance paid in monthly installments over the period left with final payment by July 15, 2024.<\/p>\n
