On a monthly basis Linda Lucas, MA, LCPC, LPC and Jennifer Nagel, MA, RCC host the Satir Community of Support meeting which includes a reading, meditation and a short teaching piece from a guest speaker.
There will be space for connection, reflection, discussion and support.

Madeleine will present a brief introduction on:
How to Access the Hidden Vulnerable Shameful Parts of SELF
through the use of Figurines in the Sand tray
In this presentation photographs of a demonstration with an adult will be used to illustrate how to transform the vulnerable parts of Shame by addressing the metaphors of figurines in the sand tray.
Dr Madeleine De Little has been a student for twelve years of ‘Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy’ and for 6 years with Dr. Allan Schore. She is currently the research chair of the Satir Institute of the Pacific in Canada and a senior faculty member of the “Banmen Satir China Management Centre.” Her studies of the latest developments in neuroscience and transformational change have led her to develop a unique model of sand tray therapy and write a book entitled, Where Words Can’t Reach - Neuroscience and the Satir Model in the Sand Tray which she teachers all over the world.
Dr De Little is the recipient of the “Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, 2021 Counsellor Practioners Award” for demonstrating excellence in leadership as a practicing counsellor and representing the optimal model of a caring person and professional whose knowledge, skills, and talents are valued by clients and colleagues.
Dr De Little is a Master Therapeutic Counsellor and a Registered Clinical Supervisor.
