with Sharon Loeschen, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

“Applying the Satir Process to Coaching”

Sharon will share her concept of the "roadmap" of Virginia's process and how she has adapted it for persons wishing to become Satir coaches and mentors. Although she is a therapist and teaches therapists, she has had a desire to spread Virginia's teachings more broadly and so she created the coaching program in 2017. In her presentation, she will describe the phases of the coaching process and give examples of how they are applied.

Sharon Loeschen is a licensed clinical social worker in California. She has been practicing for 41 years, specializing in adults who were severely abused as children. She is also the author of The Satir Process, Enriching Your Relationship with Yourself and Others, Systematic Training in the Skills of Virginia Satir, and co-editor with John Banmen of Simple but Profound: The Sayings of Virginia Satir.
