Transformational Systemic Therapy Using the Satir ModelLevel 1 TST Using the Satir Model
Applying Research Innovations to Psychotherapy And Family Therapy For Deep And Lasting Change!

A survey of mental health practitioners in the U.S.A. indicated Virginia Satir remains among the top 5 most influential therapists from history. People believed Satir’s successful results with people were due to her charismatic and loving nature. Satir’s therapeutic system of working with people is now clearly supported by research.

Research in neurobiology, attachment, trauma and mindfulness have important implications for psychotherapy and family therapy. Satir's Transformational Systemic Therapy integrates re-search with therapeutic practice and processes, assisting clients in transforming their intrapsy-chic and interrelational systems. Clients’ transformational experiences result in increased internal peace, empowerment, and integration, in addition to connection and acceptance in relationship with Self, others and context.
