Virginia Satir was a teacher who believed her work as a therapist could be taught. To that end she developed simple, beautiful models that continue to evolve and grow. Stephen will be presenting about the interrelationship between the Satir process vehicles of teaching and the consistency of her ideas in each. Satir called it “interdigitation”, like putting your hands together.
Satir’s wish to be a “Detective about Parents” led her on a lifelong pursuit to understand family systems.
